CESAR AMORSOLO SR

Cesar Amorsolo Sr was born in Sta. Cruz, Manila in 1903 and passed away in 1998.
 

His Style was Conservative Realism. He enrolled at the University of the Philippines School of Fine Arts in 1935. Cesar Amorsolo is the son of Alejandro Amorsolo, brother of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo.

Cesar Amorsolo had exhibits in Manila and Hong Kong and later in Los Angeles, USA where he lived for seven years. He was a member of Gabriel Custodios’ Friday Group. He was a Mabini artist. Cesar Amorsolo liked to do oil and pastel folk genre, and watercolours occasionally.
